Hotel Hopping in Vegas

With so much to do in Las Vegas, it’s easy to forget that a lot of Vegas hotels (especially those located on the infamous strip) have attractions of their own. Better yet, some of these are FREE!

I didn’t have enough time on my short visit to Las Vegas to see even half of these but when I go back, I will definitely be making time for the ones I missed.

Day 9 – Part 2 – Las Vegas

After the incredible experience of seeing the Grand Canyon, a few of us girls decided that we really wanted to see some of the Vegas hotels, as they all have something unique to offer.

We started off at The Mirage – I was really excited to see Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden. It was really cool! We started off in the Dolphin Habitat – there were trainers dotted around speaking about the dolphins. The dolphin pools looked so good (it was really hot that day!), I just wanted to jump in.

Day 9 – Part 1 – Grand Canyon

We had to get up early on this day for something I was probably most excited about on this entire trip. We were going on a Helicopter Ride over the Grand Canyon. This was an optional that was offered by Contiki, and nearly every single person on our tour did this. I had never been in a helicopter before, so I was pretty nervous! But it was amazing! Literally one of the best things I have ever done in my life.

Day 8 – Las Vegas

This morning we woke up to it raining! Yes, in Vegas – in the middle of the desert! We had nothing planned for today (although we did have our Limo Cruise later that night). So a bunch of us decided we needed to go and check out the Las Vegas Outlets. It worked out cheaper for all of us to hire a limo to take us down to the outlet mall.. so we did!
