Orlando Magic

Keri and I have finally managed to book our Orlando portion of our trip – after a mission to get it all done!

We are going to be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel for 4 nights – taking advantage of the new Harry Potter package. This includes a 3 day park-hopper ticket (although we only plan to visit for two days), along with breakfast at the Three Broomsticks and the new Leaky Cauldron in Diagon Alley.

With the media preview that has been going on this past week, I am so excited to see Diagon Alley. I’ve already been to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter Hogsmeade but Diagon Alley looks like it’s going to be a whole different level, and I can’t wait.

We’re also going to visit Busch Gardens during our stay at the Hard Rock – neither of us have been here so it’ll be fun!

After the 4 nights at the Hard Rock Hotel, we transfer to Disney’s Art of Animation resort for 3 nights. We’ll be doing two days park hopping around Disney World. Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is also on when we are there and we’re excited to do this again – we’ve done it before and loved it!

The Epcot International Food and Wine Festival starts on our last day in Orlando, so luckily we will get to visit Epcot and try some yummy food. It was great last time we were in Orlando!

Of course, we also plan to do a lot of shopping in Orlando – hitting up Florida Mall, the premium outlets and lots of shopping at Disney and Universal.

72 Days and counting until departure now!
